Cake Maker
£13 per hour (20+ hrs)
We're looking for a Cake Maker to join the friendly team at our local village bakery in Broughton-in-Furness, so if you love baking and cooking, this could be the perfect role for you.
You'll create our cakes, traybakes and savouries, so you'll be busy and able to remain calm under pressure.
As our Cake Maker, you'll…
* Be responsible for opening up the bakery in the morning
* Monitor oven temperatures, humidity and baking times
* Craft and create new and exciting baked goods for our bakery offering
* Work with pace to agreed timelines and to high standards
* Keep work areas clean and tidy and comply with food hygiene and safety requirements
You'll start work early morning as you'll need to pop the pies in so they're ready for the Bakery opening at 9am.
You'll need to have:
* A passion for baking and for delivering great customer service
* Initiative and an exceptional eye for detail
