Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* 1st / 2nd line support
* Deployment of hardware and software across the college
* Manage the IT Helpdesk system, ensuring timely resolution of issues in line with SLAs
* Maintain the College’s IT hardware register and records
* Support asset registering and disposal of IT equipment, complying with directives (WEEE)
* Support technologies including desktops, laptops, tablets, and print devices
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in a PC support role (Essential)
* 1st line support experience (Essential)
* NVQ Level 2 in IT, including Maths and English (Grade B-D) or equivalent (Essential)
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and desktop products (Essential)
* Problem-solving skills and timely analysis
* Teamwork and collaborative spirit
