As a Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in selling high-value capital equipment such as crawler cranes, piling rigs, diaphragm walling equipment, and rotary bored piling tools. Many deals exceed £100,000, so you'll have significant commission potential. There's no rigid territory – instead, you’ll work closely with a tight-knit team who all share the goal of growing the business together.
You’ll develop new business, maintain and grow existing accounts, and represent the company at trade exhibitions. You'll also be involved in supporting internal teams such as rental when needed. This role suits someone with great energy, a commercial mindset, and a willingness to get stuck in.
What you'll be doing:
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
10. Generate new leads through proactive outreach and cold calling
11. Follow up on all sales leads quickly and professionally
12. Manage your pipeline and lost order tracking through a CRM system
13. Prepare and follow up on detailed quotations
14. Provide sales forecasts and updates to the Sales Manager
15. Attend UK-based trade shows and occasional overseas exhibitions
16. Assist other departments where needed – this is a team-focused role
