Join Our Team as a Core Subject SEN/SEND Tutor!

Exciting opportunities are available now in Norfolk, and we’re on the lookout for passionate educators!

At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND). Our mission is to provide exceptional support to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

We are seeking enthusiastic SEN/SEND tutors who are eager to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners. If you have a genuine passion for education and a desire to support young people in Norfolk, we want to hear from you!

As part of our team, you will be supported by a dedicated group of SEN/SEND Support Specialists, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in every placement.

Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible and holistic tutoring that is trauma-informed and tailored to individual needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver each tutoring session to meet the unique needs of your students.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and social-emotional growth.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.


What We’re Looking For:

* Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, particularly with SEND, SEMH, MLD, and SLD.
* Safeguarding Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding processes is essential.
* DBS Check: Enhanced DBS required (we can assist with this).
* References: Two professional references needed.
* Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It’s crucial that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.


Employment Details:

* This role involves short-term engagements as a Worker, providing flexibility in your schedule.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage is provided.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed position.
