Supply Hive are working with a supportive Alternative Provision in High Wycombe that are looking for a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The setting supports students who may have been disengaged from mainstream education, with a strong focus on building relationships, trust, and positive outcomes. This is a really rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact on young people who need it most. In this role, you’ll be supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, helping them to re-engage with learning both inside and outside the classroom. No two days are the same, so being adaptable, calm, and proactive is key. Responsibilities Build strong, positive relationships with students Support learning across a range of subjects and activities Assist students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs Support with structured routines and transitions throughout the day Work closely with teachers and wider staff to support student progress Requirements ✅ Experience working with children or young people (ideally SEN or SEMH) Resilient, patient, and confident managing behaviour ️ Strong communication and relationship-building skills Passion for supporting young people to succeed Able to commute to High Wycombe At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority and all applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and referencing.
