iMultiply is working in partnership with a leading Scottish business to recruit for a Tax Manager/Senior Manager.

The Role
The successful candidate will provide advice on tax matters related to company transactions, complex property deals, and fund structuring. Responsibilities include tax planning, compliance support, and consultancy services, particularly for property tax issues. The role involves advising on tax implications for corporate and commercial transactions, with opportunities to work on various tax advisory projects, including employment taxes and share incentives.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on tax structuring of corporate transactions and drafting and negotiating transactional tax documentation
* Advising clients and colleagues on SDLT/LBTT VAT, capital allowances implications, and general tax structuring of property transactions
* Tax planning for business owners and managers, including vendor tax planning, structuring investments into UK businesses, and restructuring business entities
* Advising on devolved tax matters
* Advising on the design and implementation of employee share incentives, including implications on corporate transactions
* Advising on the tax structuring of investment funds and fund executive remuneration
* Presenting or assisting with tax updates, client seminars, webinars, and training
* Leading and delivering business development initiatives in collaboration with partners
Candidate Profile
* 4+ years of PQE experience
* Legally qualified or CA/CTA qualified
* Pragmatic and commercial approach to transactions
* Experience in business development activities
* Understanding of client needs and tailored advice
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
* Confident and clear communicator
* Ability to manage workload and supervise others
* Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of legal and tax developments
