The Impact You'll Make
As the Electrical Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind some of our most ambitious projects. You'll oversee the full project lifecycle—from concept to commissioning—ensuring every installation is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Your leadership will empower teams, inspire confidence in clients, and help shape the future of our electrical infrastructure.
What You'll Do
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects ranging from commercial fit-outs to industrial power systems.
* Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and manage budgets to ensure smooth delivery.
* Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to align technical requirements with project goals.
* Oversee on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
* Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and addressing challenges.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience managing electrical projects in construction, engineering, or related sectors up to the value of £2m.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation standards, and relevant UK regulations (BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations).
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and build client trust.
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with CAD drawings.
* A recognised qualification in electrical engineering or project management (HNC/HND, NVQ Level 4+, or equivalent).
* ECS/CSCS card and SMSTS certification (desirable).
