The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially driven and analytical Senior Manager - Strategic Accounts to join our Partners (Wishlist) team in London. Reporting to the Wishlist Director, you will manage a portfolio of our most critical existing gym and studio partners. Your mission is to secure sustainable retention and drive mutual growth by acting as a strategic consultant rather than just a point of contact.
Key capabilities include relationship building, innovation, and commercial expertise to drive profitable growth and partner ROI.
Responsibilities
* High-Impact Relationship Building: Build deep, lasting relationships based on trust and likeability. You should be the person partners are happy to see walk through the door.
* Strategic Account Growth: Proactively identify and unlock new value within your portfolio. Map complex partner organizations and engage stakeholders beyond the primary contact, meeting regularly with regional operators, club managers, and C-suite executives to drive alignment and uncover new revenue opportunities.
* Commercial Optimization & Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to ensure sustainable, profitable growth for both Wellhub and the partner. Execute margin analyses to support pricing decisions and contract renewals. Translate data into a compelling commercial narrative that justifies value.
* Data-Driven Business Reviews (MBR/QBR): Create and present high-impact Business Reviews. Synthesize performance data into clear, actionable insights and propose new ideas for the upcoming quarter.
* Innovation & Creative Strategy: Proactively identify stagnation and bring new ideas to the table, such as referral campaigns or API integrations.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead projects for your accounts, coordinating Marketing, User Growth, Operations, Finance to drive initiatives that increase user acquisition and engagement at partner locations. Represent the partner’s needs while protecting Wellhub’s interests.
* Proactive Partner Engagement: Maintain a high-touch, visible presence with partners, including travel to partner sites and head offices to build rapport and resolve issues.
* Operational Excellence & Issue Resolution: Maintain a calm, solution-oriented approach when dealing with escalations and ensure seamless integrations and launches of new sites.
* Live the Mission: Promote wellbeing and create a supportive environment where colleagues feel empowered to prioritize self-care and work-life harmony.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in Key Account Management, Customer Success, Partnerships or Management Consulting.
* CRM Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, specifically Salesforce, with ability to manage pipeline, dashboards, and CRM-driven efficiency.
* Analytical Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and presentation tools (PowerPoint/Google Slides).
* Financial Literacy: Experience in running data sets and structuring commercial deals; ability to manipulate large datasets for insights.
* Innovation Track Record: History of bringing new ideas to life that drove growth.
* Relationship Management: Demonstrated success with complex accounts and multi-level stakeholders (GM to C-Level), with a track record of retaining and growing high-value portfolios.
* Data Storytelling: Ability to transform data into visually compelling MBR/QBR decks for strategic decision-making.
* Travel & Multi-Level Networking: Willingness to travel and build networks within partner organizations.
* Project Management & Operational Discipline: Organized approach to managing cross-functional initiatives and keeping CRM systems accurate to support winning.
* Resilience & Composure: Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve conflicts constructively.
