Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician II to join the operations team of The Client, a well-established manufacturing organization located in Ripon, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, and experience working in fast-paced production environments. You’ll be surrounded by a supportive team and given clear direction to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, test, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, PLCs, and electronic systems used in manufacturing machinery.
* Install electrical and electronic controls based on blueprints and schematics.
* Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and perform basic mechanical repairs.
* Support water and electrical distribution systems.
Monitor installed equipment for safety, performance, and efficiency.
* Lay out, assemble, install, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures and systems including panels, breakers, and conduit.
* Perform hands-on maintenance using CMMS systems and work within shift assignments directed by a Group Leader.
Minimum Qualifications:
* 2-year associate degree in an electrical or mechanical field.
* 2–4 years’ hands-on experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
* Proficiency with CMMS software, blueprints, and interpreting technical schematics.
* Strong skills in electrical circuit design and troubleshooting (including PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems).
* Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.
