Overview
Transport Supervisor – St Albans. 44.5 hours per week across a Monday, Thursday and Friday 7am–3pm schedule, and Tuesday and Wednesday 7am–7pm. This role is based at the St Albans Depot with responsibilities to lead transport operations and ensure KPIs are met while delivering high standards of safety, quality, and service.
Responsibilities
* Drive depot KPIs in quality and productivity, ensuring discipline, cleanliness, and optimal staffing for maximum efficiency.
* Maintain compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and the company Quality Management System (QMS).
* Liaise with Sales Representatives regarding cut-off times, van routes, delivery times and service levels.
* Maintain Asset-Tracking devices and monitor driver vehicle checks.
* Support induction and ongoing training of transport employees to ensure they are multi-skilled and able to meet operational demands.
* Be prepared to stand and walk for the majority of shifts and to lift products up to 15 kg, with bending, twisting, kneeling and crouching as required.
