They are seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to join their highly ranked Insurance Disputes team in Leeds.
The opportunity
* Work on high-quality and complex insurance disputes for a broad client base of leading insurers and professionals across the UK
* Focus primarily on professional indemnity matters, acting for lawyers, construction professionals, accountants, insurance brokers and other regulated professionals
* Advise on high-value and technically challenging claims, including negligence, coverage issues and regulatory matters
* Play a key role in managing matters from inception through to resolution, including strategy, client engagement and court proceedings where required
* Collaborate closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers as part of a well-regarded national Insurance Disputes practice

About you
* 3+ years PQE with a strong background in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation
* Proven experience managing complex or high-value professional indemnity claims, and building strong client relationships
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, with an interest in mentoring and supervising more junior lawyers
* A proactive and commercial approach to client service and business development
