Vehicle Technician - Trowbridge
1. Salary: Between £30-40,000 per annum, pending experience, with opportunity for salary increases with length of service.
2. Hours: 8:00am-5:15pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00-5:00pm Friday.

Our client, an independent family-run automotive service centre who have operated for over 40 years in the Trowbridge region, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their business.
Reporting to the Garage Manager and working as part of a friendly team, as a Vehicle Technician, your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repairs on customers' vehicles to a high standard. You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Garage Manager as required on vehicle condition, safety, and reliability. and performance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will need to ensure that Health & Safety, as well as work quality procedures relating to the task at hand, are always adhered to.
To be eligible, an IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be beneficial to our client; however, this is not essential as our clients are very open to Vehicle Technicians with no qualifications but several years of strong "time served" experience, including working on larger repairs such as clutches and cambelts. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Vehicle Technicians with a valid class 4 MOT testing license would be highly advantageous; however, this is non-essential, as training for this can be provided.
