We seek experienced consultants with deep domain knowledge and proven success in executing large-scale business change and IT solutions within these industries. This role offers an opportunity to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team working with leading UK brands.
Role Background
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Lead Consultant / Product Owner will work closely with clients to identify key business drivers and lead SCM initiatives and implementations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide business analysis to support and drive supply chain initiatives.
* Identify and implement logistical process improvements across the organization.
* Engage with stakeholders through workshops to elicit requirements.
* Map business processes and user journeys, develop business models, and document processes (Business process modeling, Data flow modeling, Stakeholder analysis).
* Translate business pain points into actionable requirements.
* Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
* Develop process maps at various levels (L1-L4) and perform gap analysis.
* Support project planning, testing, reporting, and post-implementation activities with delivery teams.
* Develop and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cases.
* Assist end-users with adoption, training, and documentation.
* Analyze market and industry trends to support strategic initiatives.
* Contribute to research, whitepapers, and collateral development.
* Assist in business development activities, including RFI/RFP responses, proposals, and service offerings.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Domain expertise in Retail or Consumer Goods industries.
* Experience in consulting engagements.
* Deep knowledge of supply chain areas such as Omnichannel fulfillment, order management, and planning.
* Proven leadership in supply chain or digital transformation projects.
* Experience with supply chain software (e.g., JDA, SAP, Manhattan, etc.) is advantageous.
* Data analysis and modeling skills for informed decision-making.
* Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and team management.
Nice to Have
* Certifications like BCS Business Analysis or SAFe Product Owner.
