We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our client, a leading name in the general insurance sector, with the rollout of a large-scale claims system migration programme.
This role is critical in ensuring the seamless transition from legacy platforms to a modernised claims system, with minimal disruption to business operations. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of insurance domain expertise and hands-on system migration experience to lead delivery across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end planning, management, and execution of the claims system migration project.
* Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, business units, and technical teams.
* Manage dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
* Provide clear reporting and governance updates to senior leadership.
* Ensure minimal operational disruption during migration phases through structured change management.
Key Requirements:
* Proven track record as a Project Manager within the General Insurance industry.
* Strong systems migration project delivery experience.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to manage cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
* Familiarity with claims systems and general insurance operational processes.
This is an initial 8-month contract role which provides a daily rate of £600 (Outside IR35).
In terms of working structure, this is flexible with 1 day per week in our clients Gloucester office and the rest remote.
