Support Worker (female) for 12-Year-Old Girl – Burghclere (Part-Time or Full-Time)
£18/hour weekdays | £19/hour weekends
We are looking for a warm, compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our small care team supporting a bright and engaging 12-year-old girl with mild cerebral palsy, based in Burghclere.
You’ll be joining another experienced carer (who currently works Tuesdays and Thursdays) to provide consistent, positive support that promotes independence and confidence.
Hours - Term time:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:00am–10:00am and 3:00pm–7:30pm
(Some flexibility required on a rota basis)
Hours - School holidays:
*
Approximately 10:00am–6:00pm on a rota basis
*
2 Saturdays per month
We can offer part-time or full-time hours – please contact us to discuss your availability.
About the Role
*
Supporting a young person in her daily routine, including school runs, personal care, and community activities
*
Preparing healthy meals and helping to encourage participation in cooking where appropriate
*
Carrying out light household tasks to support the young person and maintain a safe environment
*
Implementing therapy strategies to help develop skills and independence
*
Working closely with parents and the wider therapy team
*
Driving the client’s car for school runs and outings (a full driving licence is essential due to the rural location)

No previous care experience required – just the right attitude and willingness to learn
Training & Support

Ongoing supervision with an Occupational Therapist

Training and guidance from a Physiotherapist
