RG consultancy are working with a manufacturer based in Accrington and are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller within the business, the Assistant Accountant will provide support across the finance function in all areas of accounting.
Duties include:
* General ledger reconciliations
* Accruals & pre-payments
* Fixed Assets and depreciation - monthly and annual review.
* Assist with management accounts preparation to strict timescales
* Sales analysis and investigation
* Sales, cost of sales and cash flow forecasting
* Annual budget review
* Month end, mid-month and adhoc reporting
This role is ideal for someone with experience at Assistant Accountant level, looking to expand on their skillset and develop into a full management accountant role or someone who has experience with management accounts and can support the Financial Controller in all aspects of accounts.
