We have an opportunity for a student counsellor or trainee psychotherapist to join us for a student placement to gain experience working therapeutically with adults over a diverse range of mental health challenges.
Within our safe and supportive environment, trainees use talking therapy to help clients explore and manage a wide range of emotional and personal challenges, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, childhood abuse and other concerns, without fear of judgement. The complexity of issues faced by our clients require longer term support, which means rather than a set number of sessions, we work with clients for as long as is needed, to effect real healing and behavioural change rather than short term symptom reduction.
We are seeking applications from students studying at Level 5/7 and who have previous experience working in a health/social work/education background.
Hours: Part time, 3 sessions per week rising to 5 sessions per week in line with training provider requirements. Tuesday AM/PM or Thursday AM
Working arrangement: Face to Face

Essential Requirements
Trainee Counsellors must have:
* Student membership with BACP, NCPS, or an equivalent professional body
* Current enrolment in a Humanistic or Integrative Diploma in Counselling / psychotherapy
