Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer or a plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in both residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers and radiators.
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating systems, providing effective solutions.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely during installations and repairs.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople such as plumbers and electricians to complete projects.
* Perform heavy lifting as required when moving equipment or materials.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on-site.
Experience
• van will be provided with tools
* Proven experience in heating engineering or a related field is essential.
* Proficiency in welding and the use of hand and power tools is required.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
* Basic maths skills for calculations related to installations and repairs.
* Experience in carpentry is advantageous for completing associated tasks.
* A valid commercial driving licence would be beneficial for transporting equipment to job sites.
