You will be supporting an individual in their own home in Honiton, helping them live an active, meaningful and independent life.
This position follows term‑time hours, with additional hours available during school holidays.
Your fixed weekly term‑time hours will be:
* Monday‑Friday: 7:15 am – 8:15 am (personal care)
* Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (enabling & community support)
This is a very active role, ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy and supporting someone who likes to get out and about. Activities may include:
* Walks into town
* Swimming
* Support with household tasks
* Community outings and meaningful daily routines
The individual you will be supporting has a stoma in situ, so experience with stoma care is strongly preferred.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support the individual to remain independent and active through:
* Warm, respectful personal care (including stoma support)
* Assistance with meals, medication and daily living
* Enabling support: activities, outings, tasks and companionship
* Simple electronic visit notes using the Beehive Care app

* A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car
* Experience in care, ideally including stoma care
