You'll work closely with patients, their families and carers, playing a vital part in ensuring everyone who uses our services has a positive and supportive experience. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you\'ll work alongside nurses, activity coordinators, social workers and occupational therapists, offering you a unique chance to learn from different specialties every day.
Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support to patients, families and carers as part of a multi-disciplinary team, learning from nurses, activity coordinators, social workers and occupational therapists.
* Work closely with patients to ensure a positive and supportive experience across services.
* Participate in a structured induction, on-the-job training and opportunities to complete recognised care qualifications.
* Access career development programmes and progression opportunities (including nursing and occupational therapy apprenticeships).
* Be flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekends, nights and bank holidays.
Salary and Training
If you are new to Health Care we will place you on a HCSW induction programme to ensure that you are fully trained and supported to perform the role. The programme will last for up to 6 months and during this period of training you will be paid a salary of £25272. On completion of your training period your salary will rise to £25760 as per the advert.
