Reconciliations Operations Officer

An established wealth management business is looking to hire an Operations Officer to join its Reconciliations team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with operations experience to step into a broad, hands-on role covering UK and international reconciliations.
You will be joining a collaborative team responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of cash, stock, and custody positions, while playing a key role in resolving breaks and improving processes
The Role
* ePerform daily reconciliation of cash and stock accounts across UK and international entitie
* sReconcile safe custody assets and external bank account
* sInvestigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies efficientl
* yWork closely with internal teams to reduce and clear outstanding item
* sEnsure all reconciliations meet internal controls and regulatory requirement
* sManage and reconcile stamp duty, including reclaim processe
* sContribute to process improvements within the reconciliations functio
* nSupport internal and external audit request
* sMaintain and update operational procedure
Requirement
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in wealth management or banking operation
* Strong reconciliations experience (cash, stock, custody preferred
* Understanding of UK regulatory environment; Crown Dependencies exposure is advantageou
* Experience with Avaloq or similar systems is beneficia
* SWIFT knowledge is a plu
