The Elective Admissions Lounge is a small, friendly department that assists patients in their surgical pathway. We are the point of admission for elective surgical patients and perform final checks before surgery.
We care for General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Breast, and Gynaecology patients, working closely with theatres, wards, and the multidisciplinary team.
Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. We do not work weekends or bank holidays.
As a specialized area, we understand there may be concerns; however, no experience is required as full training will be provided to the right candidate. Surgical experience is preferable but not essential.
The successful candidate should be highly motivated, a good team worker, and eager to learn.
Role Requirements
* Current NMC Registration
* Excellent communication skills
* Surgical knowledge experience (preferable)
* Ability to manage own workload
Induction and training will be provided, so experience is not essential.
