Chef Manager
Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to work alongside our clients in the Birmingham area.
Hours: 7 am - 2.30 pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Enhanced DBS needed
This position involves working in various elementary and secondary schools, as well as care homes. You will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100 to 800 students, supporting their overall well-being and academic achievement.
Chef Manager Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook lunch for students.
* Oversee food production and cooking processes.
* Manage food ordering and supplies.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
* Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth operations.
* Adapt menus for special dietary needs and allergies.
* Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste minimisation.
* Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report issues.
* Maintain inventory records and assist in budget control.
* Comply with health and safety standards and food handling regulations.
Chef Manager Qualifications:
* GNVQ Level 2/3
