You will be given the full support and training to enable you to climb the career ladder.The role of Facilities Services Team Leader plays a key part of our patient experience. The successful candidate will work with our other Team Leaders and will be jointly responsible for the supervision of around 80 of our cleaning and portering staff.Our Team Leaders are required to support in cleaning and portering tasks in times of low staffing or increased demand.
They are also responsible for receiving and delivering cleaning materials to wards and departments and therefore candidates for this post are required to be physically fit.Core Working HoursZone 5&6, Facilities Team Leader, 28 hours, working a combination of 2 differing shift patterns - 06.00-13.30/12.30-20.00, 4 days in 7, including bank holidays & weekends.Within your contracted hours of work, you may be required to support in covering for other Facilities Team Leaders from time to time, dependant on service requirements. Enhancements for night time, bank holiday and weekend work are offered as a part of this role.Main duties of the jobTo be considered for this role, it would be advantageous if you have worked in a busy NHS setting or have experience in a cleaning or portering. Our preferred candidate would have some previous experience in team leading or supervising staff.
