We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our team of Drivers in delivering a vital service across the South West. You should be a highly motivated individual, with good physical fitness and a strong work ethic. Training will be provided for all delivery schedules.
We have a delivery network covering Cornwall to Wiltshire. We operate a 7-day-a-week service, providing goods to hospital settings.
The position reports to a member of the Non-patient Transport Leadership Team.
Responsibilities of the role:
* Ability to work alone
* Must be able to work to EU regulated hours
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
Requirements of the role:
* Must have an in-date UK class 2 driving licence
* In-date digital tachograph and Drivers CPC card
* Professional, customer-focused approach
* Carry out vehicle checks at the start of shifts
* Good geographical knowledge
Working Pattern: hours per week, 12-hour shifts, working 4 days on, 4 days off
