Head of Delivery Change
Our Head of Delivery Change can be based from any of our offices in Manchester, Stoke, Southport, Peterborough, or Portsmouth. We work on a hybrid basis, combining remote and office work.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the successful delivery of approved Programmes and Projects from initiation to completion, overseeing Programme Managers and their teams.
Our change portfolio is broad and varied, covering areas such as Pricing, Underwriting, Capacity Provision, Infrastructure, Cyber, Data, and Group Services. The successful candidate will have the influence to shape and improve how we implement change at scale within the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme & Project Oversight: • Ensure delivery of Programmes and Projects is safe and efficient. • Oversee and manage Programme Managers and their teams. • Allocate Projects and Programmes to Programme Managers and manage work flow. • Monitor performance against KPIs and take corrective actions.
Stakeholder Management: • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. • Support teams in removing blockers and resolving escalations.
Assurance: • Conduct first-line Quality Assurance of deliverables. • Make decisions regarding project spend, invoices, and gate movements.
Risk & Issue Management: • Collaborate with the Head of PMO to manage risks and issues.
Process Improvement: • Identify and implement improvements to delivery processes and tools.
Scaling & Growth: • Manage scaling of Programmes, Projects, and Resources.
Other Responsibilities: • Deputise for the Associate Director of Change Delivery as needed. • Focus on continuous professional development. • Foster a positive working environment and culture.
Candidate Profile: • Experience managing large Programmes or as a Head of Change with a proven delivery record. • Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies. • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including experience with C-suite stakeholders. • Experience managing third-party suppliers across large programmes.
