We are currently working with a select group of respected London law firms
(all The Lawyer Top 200) – ranging from large international City practices to established West End, Midtown, and boutique firms – all seeking to grow their offering in key real estate-related disciplines. These firms are actively looking to recruit experienced partners or senior non-Partners in commercial property, construction law (contentious or non-contentious), or property litigation.
Individuals need to be UK qualified, currently or recently have been working in private practice with a reputable law firm and need to have nurtured at least some sort of following
(ranging from £250k to £1million+ depending upon the specific opportunity).
Many of these roles are likewise open to senior non-partners
(Senior Associates, Legal Directors, Counsel) so long as they too have a small client base to bring.
In Commercial Property
, there are 2
live roles
at leading international City firms for senior lawyers or lateral partners with a following of approximately £750k or more. These are ideal for candidates seeking to step into a global platform with strong cross-border support and sectoral depth.
A further opportunity exists
with a respected West End firm acting for a client base of high-net-worth individuals and SMEs, where the focus is on personal service, quality, and long-standing relationships. Here, the requirement for following is more flexible, with a greater emphasis on practice-building potential.
In addition, two national firms
with a strong regional footprint are seeking to bolster their London commercial property teams – both with strong internal referral networks and a desire to invest in real estate as a growth area within their capital city offices.
Construction Law
is another practice area of where we are assisting our clients. One of the larger national firms is keen to add a senior construction specialist – contentious, non-contentious or mixed – to deepen its London bench. A prominent West End practice with a strong developer and project-led client base is also looking for a senior lawyer or partner with solid market presence. A third opportunity exists within a well-regarded construction boutique that offers a focused, agile platform for someone looking to have a direct impact in a highly collaborative environment.
Property Litigation
remains a growth area and several firms – four or five in total, across the City, Midtown and West End – are looking to capitalise on strong market conditions by expanding their teams. These roles would suit established litigators with an active following or a proven ability to develop business, and a desire to be part of teams where this work is seen as a strategic investment, not just a support function.
