So, what's the role all about?
The Security Engineer will assist in implementing and administering initiatives implemented by InfoSec, including security initiatives mandated by regulatory and compliance requirements. This position will be responsible to ensure that regular housekeeping activities are performed necessary to maintain and monitor processes and systems. Ensures that both Corporate and Production services are managed according to company policies, processes, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
How will you make an impact?
1. Create, manage, and respond to security incidents and conduct analysis in accordance with existing processes and company security policies.
2. Installation, configuration, and administration of information security tools such as but not limited to endpoint protection, SIEM, XDR, WAF, vulnerability scanner and DLP.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the security tools and security processes.
4. Coordinate with third party vendors.
5. Assist with internal and external audits associated with regulatory and compliance requirements.
6. Provide formal notification to the Information Security Leaders when changes are planned that may impact the approved security posture of NICE CXOne or the associated certification and accreditation.
7. Review and recommend improvements on information security processes.
8. This position requires a person who is a self-starter and able to function without constant oversight.
Have you got what it takes?
Must have:
9. Knowledge on basic information security principles and theories
10. A minimum of 2 years working in IT and data networks
11. A minimum of 2 years in or with information security or security principles
12. Good English communication skills
13. Proven track record of solving problems
14. Good organization and project management skills
15. Advanced computer skills in desktop applications
16. Possess excellent analytic skills including numbers, patterns, processes and data flow
You will have an advantage if you also have:
17. Proficient with Microsoft Applications
18. Holder of COMPTIA Security+, CISA, CISSP, SSCP CCSK or related certification
19. Knowledge of GDPR, PCI, SOC2, FedRAMP, IRAP and HIPAA compliance regulations.
