Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team in our children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment with full training and qualifications provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs in residential or independent living settings. Our goal is to create an environment that caters to the young person’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. We require individuals with confidence, patience, and the skills to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.
Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, and support young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programs before placements are offered.
