Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor – M&E Building Services Location: Chelmsford, Essex Working hours: Monday to Friday Early & Late shift, 8am – 5pm / 6am – 3pm Salary: £51,000 per annum AP Training Organised progression plans Company: Well-Established Facilities Management Company About the Role: I am seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join my client’s team, to be based at a site in Chelmsford. In this role, you will primarily oversee maintenance tasks across this large commercial building. You will spend 70% of your time off the tools, focusing on leadership / supervisory duties, with the flexibility to assist with hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks when necessary. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard. * Assist with PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. * Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements. * Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues. * Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. * Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines. * Provide technical support to the engineering team to assist with M&E planned & reactive repair/maintenance tasks.
