Payroll Operations Lead We are working with a successful company based in Lisburn to recruit for a Payroll Operations Lead to join the finance team. The Payroll Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the complete payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. The Payroll Operations Lead will be responsible for: Assisting with payroll activities across the group of companies Gathering, checking, and validating weekly timesheet data Processing pay runs accurately and efficiently using Sage Payroll Entering timesheets onto Sage Payroll Calculating statutory entitlements such as holiday pay, SSP, and SPP Managing BACS transfers to ensure timely salary payments Applying current legislation and company policies to all payroll practices Liaising with HR to action new starters, leavers, and contractual changes Submitting Real Time Information (RTI) reports to HMRC Administering pension scheme tasks, including enrolments, leavers, submissions, payments, and refunds Monitoring and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and sector specific requirements What you need to have for the Payroll Operations Lead : Proven experience in a similar payroll position in charge of all aspects of payroll function Payroll qualifications or strong knowledge of payroll gained through employment Proficient in MS Office Sage Payroll 50 would be an advantage but not essential Experience working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and within a team.
