To achieve this, we are expanding our technical team and seeking Skilled Mechanical, Electrical, and Dual-Skilled Technicians to join our operations at Hoo Junction.
We have an excellent working environment, working as part of a small/succinct team of technicians.
The site has excellent personal facilities, showers, lockers and well stocked kitchen area
All PPE and tools are supplied
We welcome applications from all mechanically / electrically aligned technicians with experience from anywhere across the technical world
We require a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a technical discipline
About the Role:
We are looking for highly skilled professionals with experience in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles-including aircraft, civilian, and military applications. The role involves working a mixed shift pattern over 36 hours per week plus overtime, carrying out general examination work, maintenance, and repairs on locomotives and their heavy components, with a combination of electrical and mechanical activities.
* Salary: Basic earnings of £40,185.00 per annum, with overtime opportunities allowing earnings of up to £44,000 per annum.
* In addition we offer a class leading benefits package which includes 33 days leave pa, and an excellent defined contributions pension plan
We are looking for Technically astute Team Players that live within a max of 1 hour from the Depot and are working hours flexible as the team operate a shift pattern which incorporates days and nights but NO work on Sundays, Saturday (am) and Thursday (pm)
