Overview
We are seeking to appoint well organised proactive Exam Invigilators to oversee public and internal examinations here at Blackburn Central High School. This unique opening would allow the successful candidates to join our established team of invigilators. This role will be recruited on a rolling recruitment basis, so please apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given.
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will:
* Oversee public and internal examinations in line with school policy and examination board requirements
* Provide a calm, respectful and supportive examination environment for students
* Maintain exam security and integrity
* Adhere to invigilation procedures and health and safety requirements
Qualifications
* Good interpersonal skills to work with both staff and students
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Effective communication skills
* A positive approach and a problem-solving attitude
* An ability to work calmly under pressure
* A flexible approach to work
