Role:
We are seeking a Junior Platform Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our platform infrastructure. As a Junior Platform Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to deploy, monitor, and scale our cloud‑based systems while ensuring reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in the maintenance of our AWS cloud infrastructure.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Implement security best practices and assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards.
* Participate in on‑call rotations to respond to system alerts and incidents.
* Document procedures and configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud computing and infrastructure automation.
* Management of Staging environment to reduce the amount of errors in the Production environment.
* Input into tools and processes to automate the operational activity required to keep the platform running smoothly.
Skills:
* Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.
* Experience with Linux based systems.
* Familiarity with monitoring management tools such as CloudWatch and Nagios.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
* Experience of Confluence and Jira is an advantage.
