Role:
We are seeking a Junior Platform Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our platform infrastructure. As a Junior Platform Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to deploy, monitor, and scale our cloud-based systems while ensuring reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in the maintenance of our AWS cloud infrastructure
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
* Implement security best practices and assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards
* Participate in on-call rotations to respond to system alerts and incidents
* Document procedures and configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud computing and infrastructure automation
* Management of Staging environment to reduce the amount of errors in the Production environment
* Input into tools and processes to automate the operational activity required to keep the platform running smoothly
Requirements:
Skills:
* Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC
* Experience with Linux based systems
* Familiarity with monitoring management tools such as Cloudwatch and Nagios
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
* Experience of Confluence and Jira is an advantage
