Job Description
Maintenance Technician – This opportunity suits a qualified Level 3 Technician or someone looking to break into the main dealership environment and develop a career. Training at best facilities, basic salary 30,700-33,700 with commission up to 50k plus overtime.
Responsibilities
* Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard within scheduled times to meet company standards.
* Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables, record usage.
* Keep work areas clean, tidy, organised and safe from hazards.
* Carry out work completely and effectively within servicing and repair times.
* Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements, including future servicing and repair requirements.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
* Thorough understanding of vehicle safety standards and guidelines.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
* Proven ability to meet efficiency targets while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to collaborate and contribute positively within a team environment.
* A current valid MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
