Currently, we operate approximately 150 service vans and have committed to an investment of £2m in 2023 to commission 50 new mobile service vans, upgrading our existing fleet and adding additional vehicles. Hydraquip have market leading technology to support our team including our customer portal which allows customers to book and track their hydraulic hose replacement and services, with real time job status updates. A day in the life of a Centre Lathe Turner: You will be workshop based at our Ellington Branch. Your role will include using manual centre lathes and manual milling machines all with DRO's. You will also: Carry out machining using manual lathes and milling machines reproducing Hydraulic components Using a power hacksaw, cutting raw material ready to be machined. Produce components to customer requirements. Undertaking set ups on all manual machines Finishing the component to be exactly the same as the sample. Working to tight tolerances Carry out general machine shop duties to include maintenance of machines Keeping the machine shop clean and tidy. Basic working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8am – 5:00pm. You will also: Familiar with using manual lathes and mills.
