Overview
The Electrical Engineer will be a proactive, self-motivated electrical engineer, who is responsible for owning and leading the Leicester MESS Risk Remediation agenda, during the 12-Month FTC, the expectation is to achieve the 40% risk reduction target, implement the MESS strategy for the site to take ownership of and put in place best practices to set the site up for success moving forward.

Responsibilities
1. Implement the MESS strategy for Leicester Site to achieve the 40% reduction target and put best practices in place.
2. Take the lead for site during the MESS Assessments across the Leicester site
3. Ownership and execution of the remediation action plan, working with the ML's and planners to execute the work.
4. Carry out maintenance activities in accordance with detailed safety precautions and procedures.
5. Comply to all regulatory and mandatory standards and ensuring conformance to local PepsiCo standards.
6. Ensuring compliance to the work order management and inventory standards and procedures.
7. Accurate data quality including work order type, maintenance activity type, equipment selection and malfunction data.
8. Adherence to maintenance instructions when performing maintenance activity during scheduled intervention.
9. Ensuring that there is a feedback loop to change and amend maintenance instructions as part of PDCA, continuous improvement or outputs from root cause analysis.
10. Ability to develop maintenance instructions with version control and differentiating maintenance activity types.
Qualifications
11. Advanced Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship.
12. Recognised Electrical / Mechanical academic qualification.
13. Advanced Electro-Mechanical aptitude.
14. Electrical Testing & Inspecting - City & Guilds 2391 holder would be an advantage.
15. IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification is desirable.
16. Understanding of SCADA control systems, computer systems, networking.
17. Working knowledge of PLC systems - Allen Bradley and/or Siemens an advantage.
18. Working knowledge of CMMS and SCADA systems and associated applications.
19. Good manufacturing practices .
