Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced forklift driver to work in our busy yard. The work is physically demanding and involves warehouse work and order picking. You will need to load and unload trailers.
The work can be under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
You should have good attention to detail and the ability to read labels in English, you should be, flexible, self-sufficient and have a good eye for detail. Some warehouse experience is preferred but training will be provided to candidates who are keen to have a career in this Industry
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Full current forklift license
* Reach Truck license would be advantageous, but not essential.
* Comply with all health and safety rules relating to operation of forklifts on site.
* Loading and unloading palletised goods.
* Complete all paperwork for the above tasks accurately, on time and in full
* Ability to read and understand order picking sheets, delivery documents, and safety guidelines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to perform basic math.
* Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.
* A "hands on approach" to work with an organised and practical approach.
* Maintain housekeeping within warehouse
