Location: Harrow, North West London
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, curriculum- aligned tuition in GCSE English language and Literature.
* Design personalised learning plans that target specific gaps and exam objectives.
* Support learners with different needs, including those with mild SEN or low confidence.
* Use a range of teaching strategies to enhance comprehension, writing and analysis skills.
* Track and report on student progress, maintaining open communication with parent/ carers or support staff.
Requirement:
* PGCE in Secondary Education or PGCE in English
* Minimum 1 year experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Must have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired:
* QTS ( Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience supporting students with SEN.
