This is an excellent opportunity for a senior conveyancer who enjoys leadership responsibilities alongside fee earning and wants to play a key role in shaping and growing a successful department.
What youll be doing:
Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:
* Sales and purchases (including leasehold and new-build)
* Re-mortgages
* Equity release
* Transfers of equity
In yourTeam Leadercapacity, you will also:
* Lead, manage, and develop the Residential Conveyancing team
* Act as a point of escalation and support for junior fee earners
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers
* Drive business development and contribute to departmental growth
* Ensure high standards of compliance, organisation, and file management
* Work confidently with minimal supervision
* Use case management systems effectively and promote best practice across the team
About You:
* Proven experience within a busy residential conveyancing team
* Confident managing a full conveyancing caseload independently
* Previous experience in a Team Leader / supervisory / management role (essential)
* Strong business development skills
* Excellent organisational and compliance skills
* IT literate, with prior experience using case management systems
* Formal qualifications are welcomed but not essential the firm is happy toinvest in your development, includingCLC or SQE routes, if applicable
