The role We’re looking for a Financial crime analyst to join our Risk and Compliance team. Reporting to the Financial crime manager you will be involved in all aspects of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), specifically testing and outcome remediation and required to work closely with all firms to ensure AML compliance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, providing support and challenge with the design and implementation of new and existing systems and controls. On a typical day you will be… Conducting periodic and trigger event AML & CDD dip testing on our customers in line with our policies and procedures Engaging and working with customers to provide incomplete AML/CDD information, liaising via email and phone to deliver optimal outcomes Identifying potential program gaps and developing remediation plans with customers Assisting with the identification of PEP and Sanctions clients Working closely with our Compliance and Partner Launch / Onboarding teams regarding our customers obligations in respect to financial crime and KYC The ‘go to’ on all things ‘Customer’ KYC/AML in conjunction with the Compliance team Collaborating with our Product governance and consumer duty workstreams, providing oversight on customer outcomes Reporting to key stakeholders across the business, documenting and sharing output from reviews conducted This role’s for you if you are Knowledgeable about all aspects of AML through experience working in a similar role within a Financial services business, experience with transaction monitoring and corporate AML/understanding complex corporate structures would also be highly desirable Customer obsessed with excellent communication skills that you have gained from experience in proactively driving excellent client outcomes Passionate about the role of technology Proactive, resilient and comfortable with ambiguity, this is a hands-on role working in a sub-team of three Empathetic, kind and with bags of innate integrity This role isn’t for you if You rely on a lot of top-down direction.
