Are you a highly experienced Engineering Leader with a proven track record leading a large team and leading the Engineering strategy? Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced and innovative environment? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.
We are searching for a Head of Engineering for a well-established food manufacturing business, who are rapidly growing. This role will be responsible for the Engineering function in its entirety, both site maintenance and projects.
This individual will lead all projects across the site both revenue and capital from inception through to completion, whilst adhering to budget and timescales with an exciting project pipeline in place which includes water treatment, solar panels, and CI.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an influential leader to drive engineering excellence across the team and site, offering your expertise, mentorship, and coaching to your team.
You will have an extensive knowledge of engineering processes and the principles of asset management. You must have experience of leading and managing a team and have a track record of successfully delivering projects.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
* A degree in Engineering or equivalent
* Experience in an engineering leadership role
* FMCG experience, ideally food manufacturing
* A track record of successfully delivering projects
* Financial acumen and experience in cost and budget management
* Experience in HSE and quality control
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You will need to know what good looks like! Be able to think outside the box, bringing new ideas to the table, and able to influence at board level.
