Psychology Graduate – SEN & SEMH Support
Location: Brent | Start: September 2026 | Pay: £100 per day PAYE
This full‑time, term‑time only position is available in primary and secondary schools across Brent starting in September 2026. It offers a unique opportunity for Psychology graduates to gain hands‑on experience before advancing to roles such as Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, SEN Teacher, Therapist, or Pastoral Support professional.
As a Psychology Graduate, you will support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning barriers. Your work will involve collaborating closely with class teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals to deliver tailored 1:1 and small‑group support. You will help pupils access the curriculum, regulate their emotions, build confidence, and develop positive learning behaviours.
To be considered for this role you must:
* Hold a 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology from a Top 30 university.
* Have at least 6 months’ experience working with children, young people, vulnerable individuals, or challenging behaviour.
* Be confident supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, and complex additional needs.
* Be committed to working full‑time in a Brent school from September 2026.
In addition to a daily rate of £100 PAYE (with higher rates available depending on experience), you will gain invaluable exposure to SEN provision, behaviour support, EHCP targets, intervention planning, and inclusive classroom practice.
