Our client, Trafford Council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Early Help Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Deliver professional social work support to children and families, working closely with other agencies.
* Assess children’s needs and risks, and match them with the right level of support.
* Use the local threshold guidance to identify and manage risks, helping families make lasting changes.
* Carry out clear, focused assessments that highlight children’s needs, risks, and strengths, and create action plans.
* Work directly with families to understand their ability to meet each child’s needs and improve outcomes.
* Keep records up to date, clear, and focused on the child’s voice and daily experience.
* Write accurate, jargon-free reports and assessments, and review progress regularly.
* Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, reviews, and court proceedings.
* Maintain your Social Work England registration and complete required professional development.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure plans are followed and outcomes are tracked.
* Take part in supervision and support the development of junior staff or students.
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
