Job Description:

Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offers challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

KBR is looking to recruit a Project Procurement Manager to join us in Leatherhead on a 12+ month contract.

On Offer:

* Competitive hourly pay rate
* Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
* IR35 Determination - Highly likely to be outside, so engagement through an LLC is permitted

Core Responsibilities:

* Experience of offshore, FPSO, and MEGA project contracts and procurement.
* Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.
* Take responsibility for purchases supporting customer-related business processes or internal needs.
* Discuss defects and delivery issues with suppliers, and negotiate refunds.
* Coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering to ensure proper scheduling and movement of goods and supplies.
* Manage the Procurement team to develop a strategic procurement approach.
* Ensure efficient procurement processes that meet all legal, technical, and commercial standards within a strict regulatory framework.
* Drive value for money through procurement activities, supporting the business effectively.
* Review and develop procurement processes and procedures, ensuring stakeholder review, proper communication, and effective implementation.
* Collaborate with other departments to develop contracting strategies for various types of work, ensuring business protection.
