Family Contact Service We’re working in partnership with a well-established Children & Families service in the Manchester area to recruit a Family Contact Worker (Grade 4) to support some of the city’s most vulnerable children and families. This is a rewarding frontline role, ideal for someone passionate about safeguarding, child development and family-focused practice. The Role As a Family Contact Worker, you will play a vital role in facilitating, supervising and observing contact between children and their families, ensuring every interaction is safe, supportive and aligned with agreed care plans. You will: Facilitate and supervise family contact sessions, including complex and supervised contact Observe and assess interactions, contributing to ongoing child and family assessments Provide practical support and guidance to children and parents during contact Accurately record contact sessions, observations and outcomes Monitor agreed action plans and escalate concerns to the Social Worker where appropriate Work confidently within child protection procedures and court-related processes Promote equality, diversity and inclusive practice at all times What We’re Looking For We’re keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate: Experience working with children and families, parti...
