Job Description
Exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Construction / Operations Director to join a Tier 1 Principal Contractor based in Central London. This contractor operates within the public and private sector on a projects up to £150million.
About the Role
The role entails providing leadership within the region and overseeing the implementation of business system and strategies. Your direct report will be the managing director and you will be the focal point for driving consistency and improving standards of how the principal contractor delivers projects.
You will be responsible for circa £400million of revenue and up to 40 live projects any any one time. Your day to day activities will be;
* Responsible for HSW, Environmental and quality resources within the region
* Driving focus and develop opportunities to enhance delivery and customer offering.
* Improve industry best practice and sustainable modern methods of construction
* Assemble plans for improving quality
Requirements for the Role
* Experience of working for a Tier 1 contractor in an established leadership role
* Core people and management skills
* Commercial awareness and a forward thinking mindset & attitude
* Been in a leadership position and responsible for all aspects of the Construction build process from planning, building services, design management, information management and engineering.
