Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Team Manager/Senior Practitioner to join their Hospital/D2A Team.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Team Manager/Senior Practitioner with proven experience in the Hospital/D2A Teams. You will ensure the consistent and effective delivery of the Solihull Adult Social Care Offer ‘Our Offer to You’ to Solihull citizens. Additionally, you will assist the team manager in managing public resources, including delegated budgets and staff. Demonstrating leadership that contributes to high-performing teams delivering quality outcomes. The role requires proven experience working within the Hospital/D2A Team, supervising staff and students. The position is to start ASAP, working 37 hours per week at the Solihull Council House (hybrid working to be confirmed).
What you'll need to succeed
* Recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW)
* Social Work England registration
* At least 1 year of post-qualifying experience
* Experience working within Social Work adult services
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to travel as required
