Technical Support Analyst Holywood Summary of the Role We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Analyst to join a leading organisation's Business Solutions team on a temporary 6 month contract, with strong potential for extension or progression to a permanent role. This Technical Support Analyst role is ideal for someone with a background in general IT support and a particular interest in application support. You will play a key role in supporting core business systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day system performance. A strong understanding of business processes, coupled with the ability to learn new applications quickly, will be highly beneficial. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical and application support to business users, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues Administer systems including user access, permissions, and ongoing maintenance Monitor applications, batch jobs, interfaces, and integrations to ensure optimal performance Analyse data outputs to ensure accuracy and identify risks or inconsistencies Work closely with development teams and third-party vendors to implement enhancements and resolve technical issues Maintain data integrity through effective data management and governance of key master data Accurately log and manage incidents through the helpdesk system, maintaining documentation and knowledge bases Support the creation of user guides and deliver end-user training where required Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions Criteria Experience in an Application Support role Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across systems and applications Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) or similar business applications Good understanding of business processes Confident working with data, with strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to support users at all levels Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks To Move Forward If you are interested in this Technical Support Analyst opportunity, apply now or get in touch with VANRATH for a confidential chat.
