The Team
The Investment Banking division is organized across industry, country, and product coverage teams. Industry teams include Consumer and Retail; Natural Resources & Energy Transition; Financial Institutions; Financial Sponsors; Healthcare; Global Industries Group; Real Estate, Gaming and Leisure; and Technology, Media and Telecoms among others. Product teams cover Mergers and Acquisitions and Leveraged Finance. Country teams cover all regions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and are partially or fully based in regional offices. Coverage teams work together to provide solutions on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets advice.
Programme Overview
Our Summer Analyst programme is designed to offer a broad and exciting experience of what it is like to work as a full-time Investment Banking Analyst. During the summer you will have the opportunity to work with industry, country, and product coverage teams.
Training and Development
Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training at the start of the programme, on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities
* Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product and country coverage groups
* Help the team deliver solutions to clients leveraging the bank's capabilities
* Contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis
* Build relationships and experience for future career opportunities
* Participate in executing transactions, including work with clients and other investment banks and advisors
Eligibility
* Candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completion between September 2026 and July 2027. Completion means all final exams and coursework are finished with no outstanding requirements; evidence of completion may be requested before offering
* Achieved minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2027; some lines of business may offer January or April start dates. You must be available to join one of these start dates if offered.
